Originally from the UK, Mark has proudly called Queenstown home for over 10 years and brings over a decade of experience in the automotive industry. Evolve Rentals was born from discussions between Mark and his tourism expert friends turned business partners, about the convenience of a delivery car rental service operating in Queenstown. Together, we saw a gap in the market and seized the opportunity to create Queenstown's original door to door delivery rental car service.

What We Set Out to Build

As avid travellers ourselves, we set out to build a rental car company that aligns with our own travel preferences. That's why, at Evolve, we prioritise stress free travel for all types of travellers, no lines and no hassles. Every rental includes unlimited mileage and free additional drivers as standard, and our full cover option adds 24 hour roadside assistance with a zero excess and no bond, exactly what we'd want when renting a car ourselves.

How Does the Delivery Actually Work?

The handover is a proper one. Your car is brought to your hotel or apartment, and during working hours one of our team hands you the keys and runs you through everything in person. Arriving out of hours, the keys can be left with the concierge and the car is there waiting for you.

If you would rather meet in town, our drop point is on Athol Street right in the middle of Queenstown. And if it is easier to collect, our office is at 153B Glenda Drive in Frankton, a few minutes from the airport.

Where do I collect my Evolve rental car in Queenstown?
Wherever suits you. Most customers have it delivered to their accommodation, we can bring it to our Athol Street drop point in the middle of town, or you can collect from our office at 153B Glenda Drive in Frankton.

What if my flight lands late?
The car will be waiting at your accommodation with the keys left with the concierge, or ready at our office for an easy collection. Let us know your flight when you book and it is arranged in advance.

What's included with an Evolve Rentals hire car?
Unlimited mileage and free additional drivers are included as standard on every booking, and additional drivers go on the check in form at the same time as the main driver. Our full cover option adds 24 hour roadside assistance, a zero excess and no bond.

Does Evolve deliver in Auckland?
